Chuck’s responsibilities include managing S.A. Comunale’s fire protection contracting operations throughout all branch office locations. He oversees estimating, project management, labor management, claim development, contract progress vs. budget analysis, and month-end revenue/margin forecast. He also supervises S.A. Comunale’s safety department and contract review team.
Chuck works with the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Service and Inspections to develop the yearly contract sales and revenue budgets for the Company.
Expertise
Chuck has been in the construction business for more than 40 years. He began his fire protection career at Automatic Sprinkler Corp. of America in June of 1984 where he held various positions including Seismic Design Manager, Estimator, Sales Representative, and Project Manager.
He joined S.A. Comunale in 1999 as an Operations/Project Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2002.
Chuck holds a degree in mining engineering technology from Penn State University.
The Personal Side
Outside of work, Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. He is an avid reader, and enjoys working on his landscaping, being outdoors, and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football, Penn State football, and Pirates baseball.
