Steve oversees the day-to-day fire protection operations for our warehouse and distribution division. His responsibilities include financial administration, project management, labor scheduling, and estimating.
Expertise
Steve has served in the fire protection industry for 22 years. He began his fire protection career after graduating high school in 1999 as a sprinkler fitter apprentice with TKO Fire Protection. At TKO, he prepared bids, managed projects, and installed fire protection systems.
While working his way through this 5-year apprenticeship, Steve also earned his associate degree in business science and bachelor’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
In 2010, Steve joined S.A. Comunale as a Project Manager and eventually advanced to Senior Project Manager. In 2021, he was promoted to Director of Sprinkler Operations – Warehouse & Distribution.
Steve currently holds certifications from the State of Ohio Fire Marshal in fire pumps, standpipe/sprinkler, and underground systems.
The Personal Side
In his downtime, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, friends, and family. He loves bowhunting and fishing in the great outdoors. He also enjoys spending time on his boat and participates in several bass and walleye tournament circuits each year.
